I though I would find time to get my new company’s website online months ago…
It it crazy! I still couldn’t find the time to do that. Busy, busy, busy… which is nice in one hand…

Anyway, I found a little time to update the portfolio >>
I did all the new projects under the name of iWebCustom of course!

Hi everyone!
I haven’t been here for a long time now. I’ve been (still!) very busy the last couple of months. Working on 5, 6 projects at a time. I couldn’t find time till now to design and program the website for my new company.

I chose iWebCustom.com for many reasons:

1. iWeb - sounds like a Mac thing, right? I love my Mac!
2. Custom - every project I worked and I will work on is CUSTOM - one of a kind!
3. .com - I still don’t know if I’m going to use it for the logo yet… ; )

I will add the new finished projects in my portfolio as soon as I have 30 minutes of free time.

More to come… stay tuned!

FAST LANE

Biography

Fast Lane is an outstanding musician rock formation that boasts a ton of experience and an unconventional raw power coupled with pure creativity. Their roots can be traced back to the good old days (Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Jimi Hendrix). Their current influences include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Korn and many more.

In the early days Fast Lane produced a CD “First Exit” with couple of their own songs. Sales topped 5,000 copies and they enjoyed a successful tour. The band started to believe in themselves. Next, a Demo landed on the desk of Reality Entertainment. Fast Lane were given an opportunity to make a record with the legendary rock-producer, Warren Croyle.

“Planet Earth” was recorded at Newsound Studio, Pfaffikon SZ. An Album of the same name was released in Switzerland couple of months before 9/11 (”Planet Earth” - Solara, Reality Entertainment, Edel/Phonag).

The “Planet Earth” video was played on VIVA throughout that memorable day in history along with Songs like I know you know, Talk about and Frozen. They also enjoyed several TV and Radio appearances including SF’s Weekend Music with Dani Beck and One-Hour Rock Special on DRS lll.

Fast Lane had a deal with Nuclear Blast in Germany. The release was impossible after the events of 9/11, the music industry declined and the band found themselves at their own ground zero.

Since then they produced a further 3 CDs which were sold during live tours.

I honestly can’t wait to get my own! Is just a beautiful toy you can play with, and still get the job done. I really never used Walkman or something like that. Until now! iPhone & iTunes make it easy and comfortable to synchronize my music library. Now I don’t have to listen to the boring radio if I forget to pick up new CDs for my car.

Finally! I got a MAC! I used to have one, but got stolen with my guitars - Fender Stratocaster ‘63 ($ 20 000) and Paul Reed Smith ‘86 ($12 000).

I will tell you more about these guitars and the pain I felt when I saw the door broken…

Web 2.0 is a popular phrase these days, I have no doubt that you’ve heard it before but you may be unsure exactly what it means.

When I’m having a gig with my band Fast Lane is always smoky, loud, aggressive, sweaty… and late. No need to talk about the rest. You know it.

Creating websites is the part of my life when I’m alone in front of my machine and is dark, quite and dry. I go to these places where I wanna go and try to come back with an idea. Most of the time is happening. I’ll need to tell you how it all started in my next topic.

Anyway, I’m not a copywriter, I can write lyrics for my songs, but is not my strength to write articles. But I can talk! I can talk about anything with anybody. Put it this way if you will - copywriting is for someone with a lot of patience, experience and many ideas.

Musician and web designer? Is this gonna work!

The reason I started all that was that I always had to go to my friends and ask them to do stuff for me. You name it - the new booklet for my new CD, get the band’s pictures done, burn me these CDs, make me a website, please…

I was fascinated every time these guys did something for me. I really started thinking about buying a computer. About 5 years ago that happened. I had a computer! Yeah! So I started learning all those programs and softwares (new words in my dictionary). I was so proud when I got my first website done! Wow! Since then I’ve learned a lot of stuff… and is still a long way!

I work with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash 8, After Effects, Premiere 7 Pro, Combustion, 3D Max 7, Samplitude Producer, Logic Pro etc.

I offer audio, video, photo, graphic, flash, script (PHP, Action Script 2.0) and database (MySQL) services.
